Daddy's Shoes

Had to share these pics of Parker walking around with Bobby's dress shoes on. He loves taking our shoes out of our closet and trying them on. You can see from the pictures, that the shoes he picked out don't even match! Anyway, I thought the pics and video turned out cute and wanted to share!

Christmas 2008

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We definitely did! Parker got way more than he needed, but I wouldn't have expected anything less. He is the youngest on my side of the family and of course is the star of the show no matter where we are. He is also the youngest on Bobby's mother's side of the family as well...so for every holiday he makes out like a fat rat! We had to clean out the toy box to make room for all the new stuff. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have like to get his year, only because I was having to help Parker open gifts and Bobby was operating the camcorder (is that what they are called these days?) Anyway...Parker was quite as into opening gifts as I would have hoped this year. He would open one gift and then want to start playing with it as opposed to opening more gifts. I think next year will be a lot more fun! Nevertheless, we certainly had a great Christmas with both sides of the family!

Here are our family pictures we had done at JCPenney. We had made an attempt to go a few weeks ago, but Paker fell and busted his lip open right as we were getting ready to walk out the door! He had a small bruise above his left eye this go around which he got by hitting it on the corner of one of my kitchen chairs....but I thought what the heck...if I wait until he is completely picture perfect, I might not ever get these pictures done! Besides the bruise didn't show up in most of the pics. We did family pics first and I wanted to get Parker's 18 month pictures done while we were there, but after family pics he was not the least bit interested! We got one decent shot (the one above) and thats it...guess I will have to make another appt. to get his solo pics done! Hope everyone is having a very Happy Holiday Season! Stay Warm!

A Christmas Party with Family & Friends

Last night we had a Christmas Party with our family and friends which we have every year. The kids all exchange gifts and the adults play a "good santa/bad santa" game where we select a gift out of a pile of gifts and you may grab a really nice gift or you make grab a gag gift. After everyone selects a gift from a pile then everyone has an opportunity to steal a gift from another person. Its a fun game and sometimes you end up with a really cool gift or you may end up with a can of chilli beans and beano (like I did!) Anyway...these are some family pics from the party that I wanted to share! Hope everyone is having a very happy holiday season!

Carving Pumpkins!

Here are a few pics of us carving our pumpkins tonight...Parker is finally learning to smile when I say "say cheese" so I got some really cute ones! We decided to carve our initials in the pumpkins...it took us a little while to get them figured out...but we finally did and they turned out pretty good I thought...afterall, they will only be out for a couple of days! Happy Halloween Everyone!

A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

A couple weekends ago we took Parker to Bandy's Pumpkin Patch in Johnston City. Here are a couple pics from our trip. There was a tractor doing hayrides while we were there...all the pictures where Parker is looking away from the camera, he is watching the tractor!

Ahoy Mate!

Just thought you all may want a sneak peek at Parker's Halloween costume. My mom finished it the other night and brought it over for him to try on! Just like last year's costume she made him (the lion costume) this one is equally adorable! We had a great time trying it on him and watch him play with his sword! More pics to come!
