Parker & His Cousin Mason

Last week Bobby's sister, Rachel was in town visiting with her son Mason. Parker & Mason had a blast together swimming in Grandma & Grandpa Hulick's pool & hanging out together. It was fun to watch them play together because Parker doesn't get to play with other kids very often since he is the only little one in our family. I thought these pictures of them together turned out really cute & wanted to share!

These are just a few pics from this summer (all from my cell phone) of what Parker has been up to this summer! My dad took him out to the golf course for the first time while Bobby & I were in Milwaukee for his Annual Meeting for work. It was in the middle of July, but we were having an episode of cool weather that week, hints the reason for the hoodie & jeans! The other pics are from Grandma & Grandpa Hulick's pool, where we have been spending quite a bit of time this summer!

Christy's Shower

August 9th, I hosted a baby shower for my best friend Christy. She is due October 20th & is having a little boy. These are some pics from the shower. I thought it turned out really cute! My mom & I did all the decorating for the shower. She got lots of really nice gifts & is all set for her little one to arrive in just a couple short months!

Leaving for Florida

This Friday, we will be leaving for Destin, Florida. I will try & post pics while we are there so that everyone can see what a wonderful time we are having! Stay tuned for new pics!

Random Pics

These pics were taken today. My mom & dad went with us on our first trip to Walker's Bluff winery, I think it is going to be really nice, but its still in its beginning stages & the atmosphere is really different in comparison to all the other local wineries we have been too. Sunday is family day & they have activities for the kids. They also have lots of other things that are focused on kids that are available everyday of the week, such as playground equipment, fishing, etc. Anyway, we were somewhat disappointed, but it is definitely more kid friendly then all the other wineries. After Walker's Bluff we stopped at Spinoni's in Carbondale and ate on their patio...thats where these pics were taken. Don't know why I didn't think to take more pics of the winery....sorry!

So I am really behind on posts! These are pics from Parker's 2nd Birthday Party. We just had a small party this year at our house with our family & closest friends. We had a really nice turn out. Bobby grilled polish sausages on the grill, we had some delicious side dishes, & of course cake & ice cream! Parker got lots of cute clothes & lots of fun new toys!

Chrissy & James' Wedding

Bobby's sister, Chrissy & her husband, James got married this last weekend in Galesburg. As u can see, we were all in the wedding! Bobby was a groomsman, I was a bridesmaid, and Parker was one of two ring bearers! He made it about 3/4 of the way down the aisle and decided to turn around cuz he was certain he saw his maw-maw & paw-paw when he came in! LOL! It was very funny, but very cute as well! What can you expect though for a child who is getting ready to turn 2! Things went fairly smooth & Chrissy was a beautiful bride! Congratulations you two and hope you are adjusting well to your new life in El Paso, Texas!
